Is there a problem building a 6 creed on a long action Remington would there be issues with chambering or ejecting shells that would make it not feasible to do. David

Not much different than shooting 6.5x284 in a long action. I believe it would be fine.

Not at all. The M40 is a long action chambered in 7.62x51 (308 win).
