I haven't been using this, and then a couple of members expressed interest, so I thought I would put it for sale to all.
Distance was 550 meters.
I was shooting off of the bench but using a Harris Bi-pod.
It was during a Bower Long-Range Shooting Seminar in NW Nebraska about 4 years ago.
The barrel is chambered for the 6.5x57R (Rimmed).
The Thor in this chambering was never offered in the US, but is Available in the Raptor overseas.
As far as I know it is a one-of-a-kind specialty handgun here in the US.
I have Redding dies and RWS brass to boot.
Internal trigger parts have been replaced with high quality parts(Wilson)-nice trigger pull.
It also has a Holland Quick Discharge brake on it.
I had been having some ejection problems with it with heavy loads-This is the only frustrating issue with this pistol.
I want you to be aware of the ejection problem.
During another seminar I carried a brass rod with me during a field course.
I had Mike at OTT work on the issue (He perfectly matched the chamber and the dies), but it is still doing it with upper loads on the older brass.
I was just running it to hard to begin with.
I haven't tried new brass or reduced loads to see if that solves it.
I have added sling swivel studs, and there is a Holland Quick Discharge Brake on it now as well.
Right at 160 pieces of brass with half of it being unfired.
FYI-RWS brass is quite a bit more expensive than Lapua now.
I have a Burris 3-12 LER with BP Reticle and I also added target turrets to it. Rings are Burris Signature Zee Rings.
The total package Thor w/brake, base and rings, scope, brass (some loaded ammo), Redding dies/shell holder = $1,000.00 plus whatever shipping and insurance there is.
Package without the scope and rings = $750 plus whatever shipping and handling.
My phone # is 307-257-7431 if you have any questions.
