How fast can 139grain Scenar bullets be driven out of a 28" barrel using this cartrigde in a modern action? not the original actions the 6.5x55 was built for. how does it compare to the 260rem, 6.5x47lapua? i'm assuming the brass used here is Lapua, its the easiest brass to get your hands on here in europe.
Thank you.

With my 30" rpa I used to be able to push the 140 bergers to 3050fps. However I found the best accuracy node was around the 2950fps mark and the brass would last 6-8 times.

my 6.5x55AI will run 3050 from a 26" tube, but as has been stated, 2950ish is the accuracy node. You should easily be able to get that with your 28" tube.
