JustC,
I've had several barrels for my 600/1000yd BR rifles in this caliber and know of other guys that have shot it also. Almost without exception, everyone usually ends up shooting 50 - 50.5gr H4831 with 140gr bullets around 2900 - 2950 for an accuracy load. I've gone up to 3100fps before, but accuracy is down around the 2925fps mark. This is with 28-30" barrels.
I've used my std load of 50.5gr H4831 to shoot everything from 135gr FB to 147gr Clinch River bullets without varying the load. Only adjusting the seating depth for each bullet.
I've got load data for H4350, IMR4831, R22, IMR7828, H1000, and R25 also if needed. But those numbers aren't right on top of my head. I do remember using 45gr as a starting load for the faster powders (and they were all easily safe in my rifle) and for R22, H1000, R25 you will proably end up around 53+gr. Depending on your reamer you should be getting close to compressed loads around 53.5 to 54gr with H1000 or R25.
Hope this helps.... I love this case!
Steve
P.S. - if it is a 9" twist it probably won't handle the long VLD boat tial bullets in cooler weather. I've tested in different temps and when it's below 40F it will go south on you. If it's an 8" twist, you have no worries. I have both twists myself.
