Savage 10 action
Bottom bolt release
BA bolt handle
Burris 25moa steel base
26" Wilson 8 twist barrel
Oryx chassis blacked out
MDT thumb screws
Magpul 3.25" 5 slot picatinny rail
Action is factory and matching, as in that's the bolt head that was matched to the action from the factory. The action is very smooth, actually doesn't disrupt the rifle when lifting the bolt handle. The only thing keeping it from being as good as one of my Origins, is the slight wiggle/binding at the rear of the bolt stroke, typical on most factory actions.
The side bolt release works as is, no removing from the chassis, you can see in the picture that you just insert something into the slot to depress the bolt release.
The barrel was a 27" Wilson 8 twist varmint contour blank, it was threaded and shouldered, chambered with a 6.5x47L match, .293" no turn, .170" freebore, 1°-30, reamer, cut a inch off the muzzle, cut a recessed 90° crown, engraved the cartridge on the side. It has 141 rounds through it.
Rifle weights 10lbs 2.6ozs on my scale.
The Oryx chassis is the new style, with the mlok slot at the back, upgraded with thumb screws, and has a pic rail for a bipod, upfront.
The accutrigger has a 5 pull average of just over 12ozs.
The action is a small shank, apparently that was somehow relevant in my other post, even though it's shouldered.
The load is Lapua brass, CCI 450s, 41.4grns of RL17, 140grn ELDM @ .020" off jam, 2949fps 5 shot average, SD stays under 6.
I'm looking to get $925 shipped, with 50 pcs of Lapua brass. Or I can send a NIB Arken EP5, in mil, with all the extras, along with it, and you can have a good beginner PRS/NRL hunter setup, for $1375.
