I have a 6.5x284 that is built around a trued Remington 700 by Long Shot Rifles Inc. It has a Bartlein barrel, threaded 5/8x24 at 26" plus the brake. The barrel is fluted with the flutes painted black. It has a Manners T4A bedded to action, the factory trigger tuned to 2 pounds. I've tried one load with Retumbo and Berger 140s and it shot around .5 MOA. I have not done any more load testing, (different seating depth, charge weight, powder, etc.,) as this load was "good enough for me". The rifle has less than 300 rounds through it and probably closer to 250.
I'd like to get $2900 with out the scope
