6.5 Sherman short mag help

I am looking for a mag for the 6.5 ss I want to be able to load out as long as possible Woundering what length mag that will work for the 156 Bergers in a short action can't seem to find anything longer than 2.955 coal

Are you running a chassis or a stock? Wyatt's extended box would be an option depending on your setup. But I'm afraid you are likely at the longest short action magazine length you can go currently.

2.955 should be plenty long enough for a 6.5ss.

A 156 Elite fits in an Accurate WSM mag with .010" additional clearance, ends up being about .026" jump to lands in the 6.5SS chamber.
In a Wyatt's 2.980" extended box, you can seat them to the lands.

My AICS WSM mags are 2.98" internally, but definitely need 0.005-0.01" clearance or something to feed.

Where do you find the 2.980 length mags? All the ones I look at are 2.950. Is the 2.950 with a binder plate?
