If you are running this as a factory chambered short action rifle, a 130grn nosler accubond at a oal of 2.850" with 53-55grns of H4831sc and a fed210m primer that's a good start, if its long throated an oal of around 3.100" with around 58grns does a little better. As far as good powder choices both 4350s 4831s, n160, RE17 and 19, and mrp work well.

backwoods 83, I'm having a barrel done up for a 3.195 oal, going to use barnes 130gr. tsx, i hope and some long 140gr. bullets.

The barnes ttsx will likely do the best .050" off the lands with a max charge of H4831sc or Hybrid100v, the H4831 will likely hit pressure somewhere between 58 and 60grns, Hybrid probably around 56grns, the 140grn class match bullets .010-.015" in the lands will probably see pressure around 57grns with H4831, but for more consistency with 140 berger vlds for instance you may find the best accuracy/speed combo with 49-51grns of either of the 4350s. I also do not reccomend using magnum primers in that small of a case, although if you can get an accurate fast load with compressed H1000 CCI 250s are usually the best with that powder when it get cold out, but if its above freezing CCI BR2 or #34s or Fed210Ms work just fine.

My most accurate loads are
100 Btip aa3100 61.0 grains
140 sst imr 4831 53.0 grains
both one hole groups 3 shots
26" varmit e r shaw barrel
model 12 savage
