After a 25 year layoff, I'm back to shooting. Women, alcohol, golf and the Harley have kept me away. But I'm back. Used to do alot of chuckin' in upstate NY, parctace in Buchanan, NY at Blue Mtn Shooting. 6mm Rem VS w 12x redfield, 1 inch open dot reticle. Sighted 2inchs high at 100yds that open dot was 4inches at 400 yds: a chucks head area is about 4". At 400 they were toast, 600 (from prone/sitting w harris bipod) 60/40 sucess. I want more from the creedmoor. If I had this site then, I'da been looking more to 600>1000 yds but back then there wasnt much talk about those ranges.
