6.5 Creedmoor 110 Hammer Hunters

Anyone running this combo? Thinking of switching the wife's gun or at least trying them, Vanguard Camilla 20" barrel. She's not shooting over 300 and we are about out of 135 Berger's. Figure at normal ranges speed is gonna beat out any advantages BC or weight will have.

I think you could find a load with either. My guess is you will run out of case before you get to pressure. Worth a try. Start at 45g and work up. If you have room to seat them out a bit you may do well. Keep your neck tension high to avoid the compressed load pushing the bullet out. Use a drop tube when you load the powder. It will buy you some case space.

Varget would be my 1st choice. StaBALL6.5 could be a good choice in the lighter bullets as well.

Thanks for the heads up, looks like I will need to expand my powder vault for the 6.5 Creed to be include Varget and maybe Staball.

So who ended up using StaBall with the 110HH's? I'm looking to use it with the ones I have in some Lapua brass.
