I have an AccuTrigger Savage M10 (short action), that I would like to put a 6.5-284 barrel on. Anyone have experience with the 6.5-284 in a Savage short action?

You may want to check with Sharp Shooter Supply. The have a website and specialize in Savage stuff. You can buy Douglas barrels chambered and threaded for about $280.00.
