6.5-284 Load data question

My Sierra manual shows a start load of 43.3 Gr of H4831SC and max at 48.2 Gr of the same. Hodgdon site shows almost the same but max at 50.3 gr. All this for a Sierra 142 gr HPBT. Seems like everone here is starting or hovering around 51-52 gr of that powder for the same bullet.

Any Suggestions where to start?

I'm sure I should just play it safe and go with the Manual starting loads and work up. This of course is for my 6.5-284 LSR that I should have in my hot little hands very very soon.

50gr and work up in half grain increments to 52.

I just completed working up a load for my 6.5 x 284 and it is 50.3 grains of H4831SC. I tried the H4350 but began blowing primers at 49 grains...
