50mm scope on ar15

I know people do it all the time, I use one on my 7mm but I was wondering how many people use one on a ar15 platform? What height rings and so on

1.5" mount/rings. More comfortable behind the scope. Have used it with 56mm scopes on ARs.

I have a couple with a 50mm objective scopes. I use the Aero Precision extended cantilevered mounts.
