Testing the waters with this group of hunters before I send her to auction. 500 Smith & Wesson Emergency Survival complete kit.
This pistol is in great condition and comes with the waterproof case, survival knife, survival chain saw, compass, whistle, signal mirror, fire starter, emergency blankets, and Bear Attacks book. The S&W 500 is built on S&W's largest frame, the X-Frame, which was developed because none of S&W's existing double-action frame designs could handle the muzzle energy and pressures generated by the .500 S&W cartridge. It is one of the most powerful production revolvers in the world today, and it is being marketed as being "the world's most powerful handgun" by the manufacturer. The bore is in great condition and the barrel is 1.75″ long. Package comes with Galco custom holster, bullet scabbard, 80 rounds of handloads with 500gr Hornady JFP bear defense loads, RCBS carbide the die set.

I can only imagine shooting a hot bear load in that hand cannon. My buddy has one in the 460 same set up, and it clears the range when you shot it. I shot 5 rounds through it and got my attention. The survivor set market has really has gone up. It will definitely help you with your new build. I'm going to have to stick with my 500 with the 8 3/8" barrel.

I've shot one with 2 hand and some Alaskan Bear loads. Please post a video of someone shooting it one handed rapid fire. You have to have done to believe it. I was shooting some very heavy lead bullets that I think were maxed. They were sent to a friend from a guy in Alaska and I should have known better. I have a 460 and thought I knew what it was. BOY, was I wrong.
