I'm starting to reload for my ar-50 and want to know what powder is the best to start with? I thought that I would start with us-869 because I have other rifles that can burn that powder but that might not be where to start so I thought
I would ask. thanks

I forgot to tell you about the bullet 750 gr A-max

I use H50-BMG, it is one of their extreme powders that does not change with temperature. You,ve heard of guys that have a winter hunting load and a summer shooting load. Like Varget from 40- 110 degrees it only changes 10-12 fps. With a 225 gr charge if you do not have a H powder you need to watch your case pressures.

I use H 50 BMG and us 869 and both work well.
