I'm not typically one of those snobs that has to.correct people on details, but this drives me insane when someone refers to a cartridge by a partial designation, as though there is only one 6.5mm. Or that the one they are referring to is the only.one that is relevant.
Op, here is a short, partial list of the cartridges that you might be referring to:
6.5 Grendel, 6.5x284, 6.5 PRC, 6.5x55 Swede, 6.5-300, 6.5 Carcano (sp?), etc. Oh, almost forgot 6.5 Creedmoor.
Please clarify what you are looking for.
