360 degree dial to lie flat

looking for something that has maybe 4-6 inch center opening to indicate compass degrees. I will be putting it under my big eye and then orienting them to truth North. For extreme distance hunting, I can write down the distance and degree heading to each varmint kill for possible collection at the end of the day, Would be great to find something made of nylon, brass, aluminum, etc.

I don't know if such a thing would be called a template or something else.

I used a laptop with google earth. Probably can use a phone as well.
