Do you have a regular length action? Or a short action?

I don,t have any experience with the short mag version but I do with the 358 norma. The shorty can,t equal it. With Norma URP powder and a 250 in a 24 inch barrel I am getting 2950 with no expansion. And you can buy factory ammo. Can,t find brass? No problem. Neck up 338 winchester brass. This is a serious gun. More energy than a 375 H&H. Don,t need or want that much? Back off the throttle. Oh and you can run 275 or 310 woodleighs if you want. Doesn,t work well in a short mag.

JGS was the reamer maker, he didn't give me any other info on specs.
I used Clymer reamers for my WSM wildcats.

Will JGS, (or any reamer maker) make a reamer such as the 358 WSM, off of a previous customer's reamer specs?
Or do you have to send in a dummy round for each wildcat reamer made?

Any of the reamer makers will make a reamer to a spec you send them.

I am quite sure they will. Business is business. I know I can get Kiff on the phone and give him dimensions and throat and it comes in the mail.

Did you end up building one? I'm in Australia and own one a Kimber Montana in 35 wsm using reloader 17 and 200grain barnes tsx I get 3180fps which is no slouch and hits hard ! .
Clem Stephenson did mine , from memory I think he used a 325wsm for the chamber then did the throat with a 358 or something along those lines I'm not sure I'm not a gunsmith but he knew what he was doing and it's a great shooter

Sadly no I have never finished this one. I have everything to do it but have held off because the barrel contour I ordered is a little thinner than I think I want, so I need to get another blank or just do it. Being a Gunsmith work for myself always comes last
