I am having one built - Surgeon short action in an AI stock (mag feeder) to lob 250 grain Scenars.
Quickload predicts same wind drift ballistics as I am getting from my .260 Rem.
One plus is longer barrel life. One minus is the cost of components, it`s a wildcat - another way of saying expensive, eg I dont want to think about what I spent on dies (Neil jones), cases Norma and half the Sinclair catalog.
As a factory round is looks to have been dumped in favour of .325 WSM.
