338 RUM loads

Newb here - anyone got a good load(s) for the 338 RUM with 250 gr bullets

I got the best velocity with the 225AB with IMR 7828 out of a 26" barrel. I would suspect that anything as slow or a little slower burning than that would work with a 250 gr. Maybe RL25 or H1000. Hope this helps.

I have shot the 250 Partition in mine but have changed to the 225AB.

250 grain Partition
92.5 grains of RL25
GM215M primer
3050 fps from a 30" barrel
.4 moa

I am shooting the 225 AB behind 94 gr of RL22 with a vel. of 3177. Dropped a 6 point bull last fall at 600 yards, really hits hard!
