.338 Lapua loads

Running the 300SMK @2750 with Retumbo. Had excellent results with H1000 and 250SMK.

Regarding the 250gn SMK I used 86grains of 7828 but am unsure of velocity. This Load shot very well in my rifle (AI Version). Would have continued to use this load but planned to use 300SMK. Hope this helps

Yesterday had great success with H4831SC pushing 250 SMK's. I tried 84, 85, and 86 grains. 85 and 86 were both the best. Next I'm trying 85.5, 86.0, and 86.5. The COAL is 3.705".

An update...

86 Grains of H4831SC pushing a 250 Grain SMK. The COAL is 3.725 with un-uniformed bullets, 3.715 with meplat uniformed bullets.

The jump is ~ .050 to the lands and the bullet is seated .338 into the case.

I am currently shooting in my AR 30 300 smk with 89 gr RL 25, but I am interested in hearing ideas from others..... I like the 300 gr smk for a great BC.

i have ar 30 and shoot 91.5 h1000 with 300grn smk works good
