338 Edge Build & Barrel?

I have one long range rifle and decided to build another. Looking at building a 338 Edge. I already have the action, trigger and scope. I also know which brake and stock will be part of the equation. Wanting to go with a Proof Research 28" carbon fiber barrel. Anyone have any thoughts on this caliber and barrel combination? Any other carbon fiber barrel manufacturers I should consider. Thanks for the input.

I wound go steel. 28". I personally really like Broughton. #5. With an edge you want some extra weight. I have there 5.75 contour which is like a varmit. I wish it was fluted for looks but I'll do that next time.
