338 Allen Mag question

I have a Broughton barrel that I'm going to build a big 338 with. It is the 7.9 taper, 32 inches long. The breech is 1.25" for 6 ". I have read that a 1.35" breech is recommended for the .408 case. My question is can I have an Allen mag built with this barrel? Also, what action do you all recommend for the Allen mag?

I would not want to use a 1.250 breech for that caliber, but why not e-mail Kirby to get the difinitive answer.
