It is the parent cartridge for a large variety of wildcats that have been commercially successful from 6 mm up to .358 caliber. It works well in all types of actions from single shot to the mini gun machine gun. To sum it up, I think the 308 Win is the Chevy or Ford of the gun industry.</p></blockquote><p></p>
