Hello all.
I have been trying to confirm what type of rail I can use on top of this gun. Like a 20MOA rail. I have the stock one but when I was bolting it down I noticed a little twisting effect. So I think the slots on the rail may be slightly out of line. Also my mechanical zero for left to right had to be adjusted way to one side. I used the same scope on my savage 116 with no issues and not far from left to right from center. So I was thinking about replacing the rail. So far every thing I have read seems to state it has the same bolt pattern as a model 70 Winchester but I'm not sure. Just trying to find the correct type. Also thought about a 2 piece with shims to get something like an extra 20 MOA. I prefer the single rail over the 2 piece. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Model (i.e. Marlin XS7 in .308 or .308 MX/)?

You can get 20 MOA with Burris signature zee rings with inserts.

Its the Marlin X7VH in .308 Winchester

The rifle on this video is an 18" version but they are using ...

It's the same layout as a Winchester 70 short action, so any listed for it will fit. I used the EGW 42002, 20-MOA base.

... but when in doubt call/contact the source company directly to make sure of the fit applicability.
