Send Ernie a message. He can tell you the large calibers he shoots with muzzle brakes and rifle scopes.Thank you for the advice, I've thought about that but wondered if they really worked that good, it's a pretty good kick for this old man
It does, my 16" 7mm-08 AI barrel has a radial brake and it is very manageable.Thank you for the advice, I've thought about that but wondered if they really worked that good, it's a pretty good kick for this old man
I emailed Mac's, probably be Monday before I hear anything. Thank youTame that recoil with either a Holland's Muzzle Brake or a NWP Muzzle Brake from Mac' Gunworks. Make sure you get the brake with the solid bottom.
Either one of these will tame it so you can shoot it very comfortably.
Also if your barrel isn't already threaded, you can send it to them and they'll install it for you. Not sure what the price is, but for me it was worth it.I emailed Mac's, probably be Monday before I hear anything. Thank you
