I would probably trim them, not knowing how generous the chamber of the rifle is. Impingement of the bullet raises pressure immediately and potentially dangerously.
The books list a min and max length, but it is best to keep them at the mean length, this way they aren't short enough to cause a carbon build up in the chamber neck but they aren't long enough to pinch in the chamber. 2.005 min plus 2.015max= 2.010 mean length. That is what I keep my 308 brass trimmed at as well.
