On Berger website it lists the 185 gr Match Grade Classic Hunter as being able to stabilize in a 1:12 twist.
Has anyone seen this to be true?
I am shooting a Rem 700 308 26" varmint.
Any help would be great as I'm trying not to waste $$ trying out bullets that have no chance.

I shoot Berger 185 VLD's in my .30-06 AI with a 1:12 barrel. Shoots great. I believe you can use up to a 190 in the VLD line of bullets, but the CH is a hybrid, so I think 180-185 is about the heaviest hybrid recommended for a 12" twist...But contacting Berger by email would be the fastest and most accurate response.

Ironically, my .30-06 AI barrel is a worked-over factory Rem Varmint 26" 1:12 twist that started life as a .308 Win, just like in your rifle. LOL
