Anybody have any success with 760 with this bullet? I have some 760 that really needs to be used up and this was a load I was looking at that looks interesting. I didn't want to use up too many 185's on a load that nobody has had success. I have close to 2 lbs of the 760 so if I could use it with this bullet it would be a nice way to have extra loads to consider down the road. I don't have many 185's is the real issue.

Relabeled H414, has about a 30 degree window of accuracy before it drops out or goes above a node.

No experience with 760/185vld in this cartridge. However, I've used it for over 40 yrs in many rounds and I will tell you it is (a) a very good powder for speed/accuracy, (b) seemed to always do better with a Magnum Primer for me and (c) for "best results" you will need to work up a hot weather and a cold weather load. I say best as my use of it always showed as much as 100fps drop when its freezing or below, but I had no POI issues out to 200yds. I am not a LRH, so can only imagine what a 100+ fps change would do for range/wind doping. I load all year long, so I try to do my own testing in each temp extreme. But it is indeed worth messing with, especially if you like to throw charges from a Measure. I think you will love the results! Good luck to you!

You won't know until you try.Win760 has been one of the best powders for me in my 300WSM.I usually shoot 165-168gr bullets in mine and have no problem getting around 3150fps and good accuracy with 760.
