300wsm Dies

I have a set of Redding Comp dies for 7wsm.Can you use these dies for the 300wsm by changing the neck bushing on the neck sizeing die,and adjusting the body die for shoulder bump.Then just buy a comp bullet seating die for the 300wsm.Trying to save some money.

The 7mm WSM is longer than the 300 WSM so the body die could not be used to bump the shoulder on the 300 WSM. I don't know this for fact but I believe you would need to bore out the neck die to use it for neck sizing the 300 also and it wouldn't come down far enough to resize the whole neck.

I just looked at the specifications of the 300wsm case in my reloading manual,i see that the O.D. on 300 neck is .344,the I.D. of the neck on the body die for the 7wsm is .326,so the body die will not work.I'm still not so sure about the neck sizing die.
