300wm action question

I am new to this site, this is my first post, I was refered here for this question on my TBH forum so I figured I check it out. Anyways, I am very new to long rang shooting and want to build a 300wm rifle . My question is.....I have a almost new 300wm action from a Browning A bolt....will this action be able to support the kind of accuacy I want in a long range rig if I use good quality trigger, mcmillan tactical stock and high quality barrel? I would have the action solidly bedded by my smith. Or is it not worth my time? The rifle its currently in is a 300wm Browning a bolt medallian that shoots very well for a stock rifle.
