Gonna build a load with 166 HH chambered in the 300wsm. I have looked at the spreadsheet on this site and at nosler's data then at the speer data. I have RL26, H100v, IMR 4350, H4350, IMR 7828, and V560. Does anyone have any insight on which of these would produce the best results?

The 166 will be great but if you move to the next bracket and run the 152's she will be smoking, Both are a great choice but I'd run the 152. and if your gonna be 500 and in run the 124's
I would have considered something different. I guess I had reached out to Steve and that is what he recommended so that's what I went with.

I'm running the 152 hammers in my Kimber Montana 300 wsm with rl16 and they are pushing 3350 fps. Does a number on elk.

Edit: with that said RL16 and 4350 are similar, with RL16 giving a little more speed
IMR 4350 or H 4350

Believe it or not we have done well with rl26. Too slow on paper but seems to find a way to burn. 4350 should be a good bet. StaBALL6.5 has worked well and of course the old standby in the wsm rl17. We have been able to get 3200ish fps
I think I will try 4350, then staball and maybe wait with the rl26
