300 WSM 7mm Rem Mag & Reloader 25?

I did a search but am not finding what I am after. I ended up with 3lbs of R-25 last week and am looking for some info or data on using it in either of these cartridges 300 WSM or 7mm Rem Mag.

It might be just a tad on the slow end for the 300 for all but the heaviest bullets. My lyman reloading handbook shows rl-25 listed from 150 gr. on up for the 7 mag. Loads are with a 24" barrel: (MAX LOADS)

I was hoping to have a use for this powder, looks like my 7mag with 175grn pills might work fine. For some reason when I picked it up, saw a few pounds lin the local shop and nabbed it, I was thinking off the cuff that it would work in my 300 WSM. For some reason I got caught up in the WOW, someone actually had powder thing and grabbed the few pounds they had, probably should have slept on it and got a more idead powder (sigh)

It's one of my favorite powders in my 6.5 Sherman. I wouldn't completely rule it out in the 300 either. With a 200 grainer, it would probably work great for you.....Rich
