The following is velocity and target results from the following:

300 WM
H1000 73 - 79.5 grains
ABM once fired brass
Neck size only
215 Berger
225 yards

I never had any pressure signs on the brass. I'm thinking of going a little higher.

I too am curious about your barrel length.
I use 73.5 gr. of H1000 with 212 grain ELD-X and I'm getting around 2940 FPS, I am wondering why my velocity is so much higher than yours, I am only running a 24" barrel as of now. I don't think three grains of weight would make that much of a velocity difference.
The wife is running her 212's at 71.7 grains of H1000 and is getting around 2880 with a 26" barrel.
There is nothing crazy about my powder temps, and my total cartridge length is 3.8855" I seat a little far out but that couldn't account for that big of a difference could it?

My OAL is 3.665 and I'm shooting a 28" barrel... I was pleased with velocity but didn't realize how much powder it took. I'm shooting at 400 feet elevation.

I am running a 26 inch barrel with a oal of 3.600, your velocity is a touch higher then mine.
76 2766
76.5 2774
77 2850
77.5 2871
78 2923
78.5 2945
79 2950

I'm shooting at almost 7000 feet above sea level. I didn't think elevation alone would change muzzle velocity that much- I don't do much shooting lower than 4000 feet so I don't know if that plays that much of a factor. I know I started showing pressure signs at 75 grains, I started gaining space in my primer pockets and had a bit of flattening. I don't want to sound like a noob with the whole elevation thing-

I thought higher elevations increased the pressure. I'm not sure how much...
