I'd like to enter into at least one ELR shoot this year to learn and help improve my long range shooting skills. Maybe the Nightforce ELR steel challenge - looks like the furthest target there was about 2,100 yards.
I currently have a 1-9 twist custom 300 wm and a 1-10 twist custom 300 RUM and a 1-8 twist 7 SAUM long action. Would any of these allow me to do that without having to buy a new rifle?
If not, would a 300 Norma? I don't have a lot of interest in building a dedicated ELR rig, as I think I'll never shoot it.
