300 Win Mag Barrel Twist??

Would a 1-11 twist be too slow to handle 150, 165, 180 gr loads??

It'll work just fine.

Go 1:10 and then you can go heavier if you desire. It will still shoot the lighter bullets just fine.

reason Iam asking is the Blaser R8 barrel is 1/11 twist

1:11 will handle up to 210gn bullet. I have a 1:12 and can shoot 200's easy.
