Curious what kind or if any pressure signs did you see at the 87.0 mark? And where was the powder charge in the case? It's spherical powder correct?

I have 5 pounds of it. Just have not had time to play with the powder.

It's a compressed load for sure. Fill the case with 87gr and give it some taps on the bench and it'll be just below the neck. It's compressed but no marks on bullets from seatings stem. Bullets didn't push back out overnight so not overly compressed.

Pressure signs? nothing yet. 1st loaded round and final loaded round look identical (brass and primer). I'm going to take measurements to see if anything stands out. Wife says I'm done playing for the day.

Lowest charge on left, highest right.

Someone ran my data through Quickloads for me. Numbers are matching up to QL predictions (FPS). Says I'm running safe pressures with my loads.

I will play around more at the high end charges and see if I can get a good combo of accuracy, combined with low SD and ES, so it'll hold up at long range.

Would love to see what someone could get with this combo and a 26-28" barrel.

Those are smokin fast. That work make it worthwhile to play with and make it competitive against the 215s
I have some 215's. I'll try those on my next outings. 230's seem to be better shooting in my rifle. I have to jump the 215's a lot if I want to magazine feed.

My theory is the 215's might not pressure up but it's just a guess.

I'd guess if you aren't hitting pressure with the 230s and have a compressed load already that you won't hit pressure with the 215s.
I have both of these bullets as well and a 26" barrel. I will pick up some lrt and see what happens.

Here's an interesting link to Ladd's dive into N570 with 215's and 230's. I was a little shocked.
