300 Weatherby SP/Hornady Headspace Gauge

Trying to use the Stoney Point/Hornady Headspace Guage on 300 Weatherby, but the package does not reference any Weatherby rounds. Anyone know if one of the standard sizes will work.

I have the .400 for round such as 7mm Mag, etc, would that work?

Oops, I meant to say I have the .420 guage, not the .400.

I just use the one that I regularly use for win mags. Seems to me that the most important thing is that it hits somewhere close to the middle of the shoulder.

After all, you are not looking for a specific measurement, just how your first measurement compares to the next measurement you take with the same equipment on the same cases.
