Anyone have some good loads for 185 gr Berger VLD's in the 300 weatherby. I am curious if Retumbo would work with this combo and if so where to start. Maybe someone with Quickload has some ideas? Thanks in advance.

10+ years ago I was shooting the 190's out of my 300 Wby and used H4831, 3100 fps, excellent accuracy. I now shoot the 210's with 80 of 7828, 3000 fps. Accuracy is very very good. I think Retumbo might be a little slow for 185's. I would try 7828. I have some Retumbo to try for the 210's, but the 7828 shoots so darn well I don't want to mess with things.
