300 saum fps?

I'm trying to load 168's over 3000fps and failing miserably. Can some one help me with this? I have IMR4350, RL15, power pro 2000, H4831, ram shot hunter, and RL19. I would think one of these could get me over 3k in a 24" barrel. It's a Rem700 SPS SS, with a 1:10 factory tube. I have a good load with the IMR4350. Just want it shooting flater. The current load is 62.5grn at 2862fps. I plan to use the 168hybrid.

I don't have any experience with the 300 SAUM, just the 7mm SAUM, but I just checked with the Alliant Powder web site and they show three powders that should get you close to or more than 3000 ft/sec. First they list a 165 Speer BTSP at 3152 ft/sec with RL-17. I know you may not have RL-17, but they also show that both RL-19 and RL-22 with get you very close to 3000 ft/sec. with a Speer 165 bullet. I know you are shooting a 168 Hybrid but it sure looks like RL-17 could get you over 3000 ft/sec..

They also show 2000 MR getting 3090 ft/sec with the same 165 Speer bullet. I am just not familiar with 2000 MR.

I like the PP2KMR in my short barreled 308. I am getting 2570fps out of an 18" barrel. It seems to be somewhat temp stable believe it or not for a ball powder to boot.

Armalite AR10 300 Ultra SASS (my factory 300 SAUM)

I started out shooting the 210 VLDs at 2930 fps with RL17 but was getting some extractor sweep so I dropped down to find a new load with 190 VLDs and I'm sending them at about 2915 right now with no pressure signs. I see no reason why you can't achieve your goal with RL17 and a 24" barrel.

I might revisit the 210s or 208s with RL33 and see how they shoot...but with a semi auto...I'm JACKED to be sending these into right around 1/2 MOA groups.

This was my first 3 shots past 100 yds after 12 test rounds.
I fired 4 groups of 3 to get a rough estimate of velocity and accuracy...and this was the result. I have since taken it out to a mile with the 190 VLDs and it's an absolute performer for being essentially a 100% stock Armalite. (trigger and barrel are factory)

I get over 3100 fps with 165 TSX bullets with R-17. I am working with superformance now but have not had a chance to chrono any yet. This is in a Model 7 with 22" barrel.
