Made it out to the range today. Not much time, but did get to shoot a load that I wanted to try.

Previously, I've shot the Berger 210 VLDH bullet from this gun with sub-1/2 MOA accuracy at 3149 fps from a 27" Krieger barrel.

Today, I shot the Berger 215 Hybrid pushed by Retumbo, lit by a F215GMM primer in Remington brass.

Gun is a Remington 700 LH that started life as an LSS and was worked over by Jon Beanland. Scope is a Vortex Viper PST Gen2 5x-25x-50mm FFP. Stock is a B&C Alaskan Medalist, muzzle brake is a Karl Kampfeld 3-port, attached to a Krieger Light Palma contour 5R 27" barrel.

I failed to get the first two shots ballistic numbers.

I have had two LH 700 LSSs in 300 RUM. Jon Beanland recently changed one into a 30 Nosler. This thread makes me think I should have him put another 300 RUM barrel on #2 when its factory barrel is shot out.

No, reamer was provided by Jon Beanland. He told me the freebore was 0.098", with a neck diameter of 0.342" or 0.343" and I don't recall the freebore diameter(Jon probably didn't mention it - it was back in 2016 when he built the gun).
Wow with that short of a FB surprised you can attain those levels.

Dang good shooting though for sure

Not sure my freebore is actually what I was told. Based on the OAL, I think I've got much more freebore than that. Math indicates I may very well be in the 0.125" range on freebore.
