I finally had a chance to shoot some groups with my new ADG brass. I've realized through your advice the brass is such a critical factor in reloading. I started low on these groups and so glad I did. I'm getting the same pressure/velocity at 2 grains under my existing load. Below are the results and the ES and SD are just amazing with this brass.

300 Rum
N570
215M primer
336 neck bushing
Dry lube to seat bullet with Wilson die
0.01 off the lands
ADG new brass

If your going to shoot groups at 175 yards. Have a linear line with your orange dots and shoot them lowest to highest charge left to right. You could easily go .3-.5 grain increments. You want to see climb, level off, climb. I'll try and dig up a picture to show you. Then pick the middle of the leveling off place and do seating depth test. What bullet?

I had previously shot a few 0.5 grain rounds (single ladder) to get an idea of pressure/velocity and find a sweet spot. These groups were more fine tuned for that sweet spot.

I'm shooting the 230 grain Berger hybrids.

Below is the overall target. I shot the bottoms middle first with 86 and worked counter clockwise. It gives an idea of POI shift but I agree the straight line would help.

Wow. I may have to try some N570 in my 300 RUM. I'm getting those same velocities with rl33, but it takes 96 grains to do it. I can push them 3150 FPS, but then I'm right on the edge of pressure.

I was hoping to actually get better MV and believe I safely can... but I'm afraid my brass will take a beating. This load has zero pressure signs on my brass and I was shooting when it's 90 degrees outside. I believe I will stay with this lighter load but 3100 is not out of the picture if you don't mind reduced brass life.
