When the .30-06 was the only cartridge allowed in highpower competitions for normal courses of fire, IMR4064 was the powder of choice for the folks who shot the most accurate rifles and won most of the matches. I don't think anything will equal IMR4064 for accuracy.
Full-length resize your cases and seat bullets as close to the lands as possible.
