We are going to head out west to shoot antelope this fall and need to develop a load for the girlfriends rifle. I have some 168 vlds laying around with brass and primers. So my question is what combos are you getting good results with this set up?

I also need to work up some loads for my .243, I have some 75gr remington accutips I have never loaded or tried. Anyone have experience with said bullet? All I have used previously is the 95gr sst with massive internal damage and no blood trail. That shold not be an issue in the wide open plains. But wondering if anyone has tried said bullet.

4350 with the 30-06... any flavor 4350 will do, but I use I 4350 in every 30-06 I put 165's through, including my current 30-06... wlr or a mag primer and work up from low 50 grs with book data... I usually land between 56 and 57 grains I 4350 with a hornady pill...

Your 243 will sing a pretty song with any 70-75 gr pill with I 4064... I have used around 40gr with a 70 speer tnt in a few rifles now and it has been great... The speer and hdy 75's are no different there; the remmy pill shouldn't be any different... the 243 will do well with a fed 210 or cci 200 with a powder like 4064... I or H 4895 would be decent too...

I have used H4350 with the 168 vld in a few different rifles (2 rem 700's and a Savage). All three liked 57.5 grains with CCI BR2 primers in Federal brass. I could not touch the lands of the rifling in either of the Remington's so I just loaded as long as possible.
