280 AI Brass

New Nosler 280 ai brass is about $80 per 50 pieces. Today I noticed that Ammo Seek has a vendor selling Nosler BT 140 gr. ammo for $27 a box with free shipping. The loaded ammo is cheaper than the new brass. Is there something I'm missing?

I was looking at Foundry Outdoors on Ammo Seek. They have free shipping, but I noticed (now) ammo is not included. Sorry. Many of the other vendors on Ammo Seek have the same Nosler ammo for less than $30 a box and a flat $15 for shipping. Still be ahead if ordered in volume.

Just to let you know, nosler custom brass is different from their loaded ammo brass. At least in the 280 ai

Wish Nosler wouldn't have screwed the 280 AI up. I shoot the original AI with 40 degree shoulder and fireform all my own...

If you look inside the brass there is an indentation at the bottom of the case on the loaded ammo. There isn't one on the custom unloaded brass, it has different capacity.
