I have these and would like to hear your loads and experiences with this combo.
Right now the plan is to start at 76 and work up until I see pressure.

The gun likes gunwerks 180 Berger hybrid load

Thanks guys

What does Berger say?

Do you have Retumbo or N570?
Either is a better choice in that large cartridge.

Cheers.
I do you have 4 pounds of Retumbo
I haven't been able to find anything on burgers website for the 180 hybrid
This gun loves Gunwerks 180 hybrid load and that's normally what my dad shoots out of it. We leave on Wednesday for a hunt and he thought he had a few boxes of ammo for it but it turns out he doesn't and Gunwerks is out of it. It might need this
Luckily, I have the dies and brass to reload for it, but I only have two days to get it done LOL.

I just found Gun Work's 28 Nosler load information so at least I have a place to start starting from scratch. They use Retumbo in their load.

If you scroll down to the bottom of the page there's a section with similar post. Furman was asking the same a few years ago and got some answers

I see weatherby actually loads a vld for just over 110 on midway anyways.

I run 195 EOL's out of my stw, after i shoot them up i thought about 180's speed them up a touch, but the 195's are so accurate who knows lol -

Currently running 79gr of H1000. 3220 out of a 27" Bartlein on my trued Model 70. Single digit ES and groups are half inch at 250 yards. I couldn't ask for more but it is a bit explosive at closer ranges.
