Go shoot it at long range and validates it's REAL BC. You will most likely find that you will still have to scratch and claw to get that bullet anywhere near it's stated .625 BC.

I modded some last night to see if I can get them to hold together at 3400+.

Learned tome thing about their internal construction. We'll see....

Will boost their bc significantly. Maybe even to the advertised value...

"Nosler Accubond Long Range...Making your average hunter think he's a long range badass, since 2013."

:D:D:D

I love the regular Accubonds, but I never believed for a minute the ABLR could raise it's BC that much more by switching the tip color...I guess plastic dye these days has become incredibly slippery. :D

As for long range, I'll stick with my Bergers with their TRUE tested BC's that Brian Litz tests himself.

I've used hornady 130 sst @ 3494fps. Blew the crap outa deer. That's with miss moly spray in barrel and bullets. With 77.5 grains magpro. Then 150 grain bergers over 3200 fps. Blew the crap outa deer. 1 shot was close at 50yrds. I understand that, but the others were 300 to 450 and it still messed up a lot of. Meat. The accubonds did to but some weren't bad and pased through. All but 3 of 13 shot were there bullets or fragments to recover. I get allot of longrange pratice. In wisconsin I can hunt clearcuts with 1200yrds anywhere I can see. And we can shoot 10 does a season if you want. I fill most tags for family though.

Bruno T,

I took a 5x6 elk and a nice muley in Colorado with that bullet out of a 270 Ackley improved. With Reloader 19 it chronos at,3200fps.

The recovered bullet from the elk was a broadside penetration just behind the shoulder and it stopped just under the skin on the opposite side. It retained a mushroom and stem shape, much of the bullet had been given off the trauma channel.

I have a new batch loaded for the 7stw in 150s, and am working on 190s for my 300 Rum.
