.270 wsm

I have a savage 110 in 270. What would or can I convert it to a .270 wsm

Rebarrel it and get a new bolt head. Probably have to work on the magazine as well. Most Savage WSMs are on a large action. Some barrel companys will only chamber the large shank barrels in WSMs for Savage rifles.

Somethimes you have to weight up the costs, work required, time etc & most of the time its just easier to go out & buy another rifle.
Well here anyway!

Imo either keep or sell the one you have & buy a new .270wsm.
There are lots of cheap accurate rifles around to choose from

You can convert it to a wsm but it will cost some coin. New barrel, bolt head and magazine parts but it can be done. If your set on the wsm another option would be to sell the 270 and purchase a 270wsm. For what it's worth if your a hand loader try reloder 26 with a 140 Sierra gamechanger or accubond. Performance is very similar to the wsm That's the cheapest route. Best wishes
