Im delving into the mythical 270/RL-19, 56gr=2900fps out of a 26" barrel with 130 GMX, 140 SST, 150 SST. ANY COMMENTS?
Drop/wind projections are interesting. Confirmation of this theory would help me prove a valid point, thus winning me a 5$ footlong. Any and all data will be collected, collated, referenced and utilized in finding the most accurate round for my rifle.....just about the time I shoot out the barrel.

But I believe 2900 from a 26" with R19 is practical for all 3 weights.

I ain't got any of those boolits and my 270Win is not yet setup so I can't validate.

I get 2865 with Barnes 140 TSX and IMR4831 from a 22" barrel. I would agree that with a 26"er you should have no trouble.

I load the 130gmx for my Marlin 270win xl7 (22"bbl.). I'm getting 3,050 fps with 57 I4831 and a wlr in win brass.

As to rl19, I skipped rl19 entirely in this cartridge and went to rl22 or I 7828 for my slower powders. I think you'll be well into high pressure with the 150's and 56gr rl19; alliant is only recommending 53gr with the 150 that they show.
