I've been hog hunting a friends bow only property. During deer season he asked me to not use a rifle. So I got a crossbow with a digital NV device*.
This was my first time to use this set up.
I don't think I'll ever be able to top this hunt!
When you've been using thermal weapons system for over a year you forget how different digital night vision functions.
Nothing like having a 270 lb. boar walk right towards you at 8 Yards!
Did I think I was going to die - YES!!!
*BTW - I'm currently trading my 5x NV device for a 3x or less magnified model.
